ABOUT THE JOB:
An ACCOUNT MANAGER is the direct conduit between the client and the internal creative, digital, media and public relations teams and works on all of the day-to-day client needs. It’s a challenging role, but one with a critical purpose, requiring excellent written and verbal communication and a knowledge of strategic marketing. Applicants must also have above average customer service, proofing and organizational skills. Would prefer applicants have 5+ years in marketing sales or agency experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration. JSA seeks a true self-starter who has ambition and drive to manage a current client list and also focus on new business. JSA is located in the heart of downtown Fresno. Our collaborative culture requires staff to be in the office Mon – Fri., with rare occasions that require weekend or evening hours. Bilingual, English/Spanish a definite plus.
An Account Manager is responsible for the following:
- Manages all day-to-day client activities, including managing production deadlines, media promotions, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow.
- Assembles background information and analyses as needed in the development of creative briefs, project assets, digital program reports, etc.
- Is lead in processing all final copy, agendas, conference reports, proposals, correspondence and other materials related to client correspondence, and preparing for client presentations.
- Maintains client documentation and/or digital archives for all assigned accounts, detailing past work and work-in-progress, and all pertinent information needed for accurate proofreading and meeting of client standards.
- Makes sure all media and projects proceed according to plan and deadlines.
- Leads the client and all agency departments through the strategic messaging and marketing process for all projects.
- Must have a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook software.

ABOUT THE JOB
A DIGITAL MEDIA BUYER is an in-house position – typically, neither remote work nor freelance contractors will be considered for this critical position. We are looking for a data-driven, analytical, and highly organized professional with experience managing high-performance digital campaigns for a variety of local and regional accounts.
The role requires a strategic thinker who has a minimum of 3+ years of digital media buying experience and a firm understanding of mobile targeting, online video integration, search, display, and streaming platforms. A successful candidate must have a proven track record of creating and executing effective multi-channel digital media campaigns and have a desire to continue to grow and experiment with new opportunities that arise in the growing digital world. The ideal candidate must be willing to share their relevant work experience on digital brands, and demonstrate their strategic capabilities and market knowledge.
A digital media buyer is responsible for the following:
- Plan, place, manage and report on multichannel programmatic campaigns across multiple DSP’s including Centro/Basis and Google platforms
- Display solid planning and execution of campaigns across Simpli.fi, Pandora, Spotify, YouTube and all paid social channels
- Be an expert at data aggregation including Google Data Studio and Tag Manager
- Work with agency teams to provide clients with digital media recommendations that align with their business objectives
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery and performance issues.
- Know how to implement, measure and track campaign performance with pixels, conversions and other standard mechanisms.
- Conduct analysis of campaign performance, optimization, etc., while providing fact-based recommendations to the team of ways to improve campaign performance
- Serve as a digital media expert for agency clients. Communicate complex digital strategies and technologies into easy-to-digest concepts to increase the understanding of digital campaigns..
- Capable of trafficking all creative elements and setting campaigns up prior to launch date
- Maintain knowledge of media technology buying platforms and analytical tools
- Participate in new business and client presentations as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in digital advertising, campaign management, and media-buying in an agency or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of DSPs and programmatic platforms such as Centro, Simpli.fi, or comparable platforms.
- Previous experience in data analysis – providing and explaining performance reporting for digital campaigns. Google Data Studio reporting a plus!
- Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Have the ability to provide timely feedback to colleagues, superiors, and partners
- Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint
- Have the ability to act as a proactive part of the agency team, and to act as a self-starter in an environment that encourages creativity, enthusiasm, and organization
